FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the professional resume service?
The service includes a review of your existing resume, personalized content development, nursing-focused writing, professional Overleaf formatting, draft review, and a final PDF copy.
How do you help me get hired?
We help you present your qualifications professionally, prepare for interviews, sharpen your job-search approach and apply with confidence. Hiring decisions rest with employers, and we make sure you walk in as ready as possible.
Can you help me decide which course to take for a promotion?
Yes. We provide general guidance based on your nursing designation, experience, preferred area of practice, and career goals. Course and promotion requirements may vary by employer, province, and position, so clients should confirm the final requirements with the appropriate employer or regulatory organization.
Do you help nurses who have just passed the NCLEX-RN or REx-PN?
Yes. Newly registered nurses are one of the main groups we work with. Once you have passed the NCLEX-RN (or the REx-PN for practical nurses in Ontario and British Columbia), we help you turn your education and clinical placements into a professional resume, prepare for your first nursing interviews, and plan your job search in Canada.
Can you help internationally educated nurses (IENs) in Canada?
Yes. We help internationally educated nurses present overseas education and clinical experience in a format Canadian healthcare employers recognize, use Canadian nursing terminology, and prepare for Canadian-style behavioural and scenario-based interviews. Registration and licensing requirements are set by each provincial nursing regulator, so please confirm those directly with your regulator.
Is the resume written for Canadian healthcare employers?
Yes. Your resume is written for Canadian hospitals, long-term care homes, community care, and other healthcare settings, using terminology such as resident-centred care, IPAC, and provincial standards of practice where they apply to your experience.
What do I need to send to get started?
Your current resume (any format), the nursing positions or employers you are targeting, and copies or details of your education, registration, and certifications such as BLS. If you do not have a resume yet, we can start from your career details instead.
